Post 28 has transitioned from doing manual membership to doing membership online with legion.org. We will still accept mail in and in person memberships and renewals, but consider joining or renewing online at www.legion.org. The process is fast and simple and you will receive a printable temporary membership card. You can either trade in that card at the Post for your regular membership card or just wait and it will be mailed to you when we receive the notice of your membership or renewal.
Because of the delay in processing manually, sometimes National will send another renewal notice to you before the Florida Department notifies National of your renewal. If you have already mailed in an orignal white renewal notice with a check, please ignore the brown renewal notice. We have received a few duplicate payments because of this.
